When the possibility of returning to Syria opens, Ghanim, a former Syrian lawyer living in Norway, must choose between reclaiming the man he once was and preserving the family life built in exile — return home and risk losing them, or stay and lose himself.

HOME is a film about sacrifice, fatherhood, exile, and the loss of identity. At its centre is a man who gave up his status, language, profession, and sense of self in order to give his family safety. When returning to Syria becomes possible, he is forced to confront the painful question of whether home is the place where he once belonged, or the life his family has built without fully sharing his memories, language, and longing.
