Al Haya Helwa – Livet er herlig

How do you find the energy to move forward, when you are constantly deprived of future perspectives? Where do you belong, when your homeland is not recognized?

Mohamed Jabaly is using his camera as a diary, to rewrite the story of his life as a Palestinian, stuck in the arctic city of Tromsø. Looking back at his personal archive and trough his meeting with his new friend Khader we get the inside of a life in limbo, both in the city of Gaza and in the diaspora.

«Al Haya Helwa» is a film about the beauty of life and the power of creativity as an act of resistance.
