In 2009 the Director was filming his next long documentary film about Maloula City / Syria, but he found the city suffering from huge corruption, there is no water , no civilian services to people, during documenting and filming that situation in the city/intelligent secret police entering his house in Damascus, searching for the filming materials, but Director hid them underground outside his house, so they found nothing.

The director hide himself for 2 years until the Syrian revolution happened in March 2011 , he continued filming in Syria, but when people started using weapons , he didn’t find his own peaceful revolution , so he left the country.
