A Palestinian filmmaker stages an unlikely audition, which sets her actors to dramatic confrontations with a symbolic Israeli war criminal. The confrontations open questions about the heavy psychological burden of witnessing a genocide and the impossibility of justice. Eager to learn from other survivors around the world, the filmmaker embarks on a journey to Rwanda and Bosnia to learn how she can re-stage a similar confrontation using the wisdom of genocide survivors that have had enough time to process their anger.
